Gulf Regional Economic Aboriginal Trust Chair Fred Pascoe says economic development is needed to drive the four pillars of an Indigenous Voice that Linda Burney revealed last week.
“And disappointingly again, she has not acknowledged that or she hasn’t responded,” Mr Pascoe told Sky News Australia.

Great Regional Economic Aboriginal Trust Chair’s Fred Pascoe says he is “disappointed” the Albanese government has not identified economic development as part of its four-point focus for a Voice to Parliament.
“It underpins health, it underpins education – economic development gives people a purpose,” Mr Pascoe told Sky News Australia.
“We need to go to the next step and economic development allows that to happen.”
